MEET PUVAN
Puvan is a chemical engineer with 25 years working experience in Process Safety and Technical Risk Management, encompassing the North Sea and Asia Pacific regions. He is also a Professional Process Safety Engineer with the Institute of Chemical Engineers and a Chartered Engineer with the Safety & Reliability Society UK.
Puvan co-founded SynergenOG in 2012 to better serve the Energy industry in the Asia Pacific region, following his return to Asia succeeding his active work in the UK sector of the North Sea for 11 years. Previously he has worked for Premier Oil, Talisman Energy and Det Norske Veritas, and possesses in-depth and thorough understanding of risk identification, assessment and management processes, covering HAZID, Bow-Tie, Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews (PSSR), Formal Safety Assessments, and Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Analysis, to name a few.
He is also currently undertaking a role as an independent Process Safety Technical Authority for Premier Oil operations in Vietnam.
