MEET DAVE

David Apelt is the Chief Technology Officer of SAFEmap.  David’s background is in software engineering and the application of technology to digitally enable businesses.  After running a software engineering company for 17 years, David has been the CTO of a Government Owned Corporation and a software startup preparing for IPO.   He specialises in digital transformations taking startups to become multinational companies.

David has a passion for technology and how technology can be applied to achieve greater safety outcomes for all.

David holds degrees in Electronic Engineering (B Eng Elec) and Information Technology (B Info Tech). He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
